D-Day! June the 6th 2020 sees the return of Soulfish to the “Ultimate Civic Disco”

The first in this new series of UCD events hosted by Graham Kentsley kicks off with the long awaited return of 10 piece local soul legends “Soulfish” playing the very best Soul Funk and Motown on St Albans largest dance floor!

All supported by 2Tone and a special guest from St Albans Funk – Meesh!

Meesh Jay is a Soul & Funk singer and will be performing at the UCD for the first time with a short set of her songs taken from the new star studied album and film – St Albans Funk! – Meesh has previously performed as Aretha Franklin in the Blues Brothers UK music show.

Donations from the event will once again go towards the St Albans Museum + Gallery Trust and for the first time at the UCD we have a special guest Charity – The Ollie Foundation!

The Ollie Foundation is a registered charity funding suicide prevention skills training for individuals or the community especially those interacting with young people. The aim of the training is to create ‘suicide safe’ communities.

Started by local parents who lost their sons and daughters to suicide. Who have vowed to do all they could to prevent other families suffering in the way they did.

Doors open at 7pm with lots of fun fund raising events in the main foyer from all our fabulous sponsors including Eyes on St Albans and Radio Verulam
