After opening in 1968 we have become a significant local land mark and Hertfordshire’s premier entertainment venue!

With Comedy, Music, Theatre, Dance, Film, West End shows, Children’s shows, Pantomime & much more. Continuing to entertain Hertfordshire for over 50 years.

Booking Information

You can either book online or via our Box Office. To book online please find the event you wish to attend and click on the ‘BOOK NOW‘ button to begin.

Our Box Office opening hours are Monday, Wednesday & Saturday 10am – 4.30pm walk in and via phone on 01727 844488

On performance days we are open 4pm – 8pm walk in and via phone on 01727 844488

Reservations may be made by telephone & tickets will be held for three days pending receipt of payment in person or via the phone. Telephone bookings may be paid for via card at the time of booking; they will be held at the Box Office for your collection. With all bookings taken by the Box Office staff the best seats will be allocated to you.

Your booking may incur a transaction fee of up to £3.

Exchange & Refund Policy

We will exchange tickets for another performance to the same value or give a credit note to redeem against a show in the future. A handling fee of 10% of the total ticket price will be charged for this service & the tickets must be exchanged at least 7 days prior to the performance date.

The no refunds policy remains the same; patrons are requested to check their tickets at the time of purchase. Tickets for sell out shows may be accepted by the Box Office for resale on behalf of the customer but no responsibility is accepted nor sale guaranteed. Any tickets sold on will be given a credit note to redeem against a show in the future less £1 per ticket.

Please note the booking fee & transaction fee are non-refundable under any circumstances; this includes the cancellation of a show.

Children's Policy

Adults booking to see a children’s show must be accompanied by a child. Children under 5 will not be admitted to any other show than family shows.

Tickets must be purchased for children over 18 months old, this is at the show producers discretion.

Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult to any show.

We are hiring for The Alban Arena & The Eric Morecambe Centre

We are a vibrant and busy venue with a mixture of touring productions, films, exhibitions & local hires. We are looking for energetic & reliable staff who are team orientated, enjoy challenges & are available during day time & evenings all year around.

Front of House/Box Office Assistants

We are looking for people who can do shifts that will cover weekdays, evenings & weekends at both venues. Applicants will demonstrate outstanding customer service & will be responsible for serving drinks & confectionary, stewarding, Box Office, general housekeeping duties & cleaning. You may be required to work in other areas of the business as required – training will be provided. Ideally the candidate will be 18+ as we are looking for staff who can serve alcohol.

Please note this is not a full time position. It is on a casual basis with no set hours per week

Technician 

Responsibilities will include smooth set up, running and get-out of shows & events. Assisting the Production Manager & Technical Manager in the preventative maintenance off all electrical & mechanical equipment within The Alban Arena & The Eric Morecambe Centre 

39 hours a week, will include evenings and weekends.
